Appoint a day reliever
Day reliever records are not assigned to a specific school, which allows any school to use them. Schools can enter timesheets against the reliever's Ministry of Education number but will not be able to view their personal details in EdPay.
If a day reliever is new to your school but has previously been paid through the Education Service Payroll, ask them if the contact and bank account details held for them are correct. If not, or if the employee is unsure, the details can be changed in EdPay. See our Training section about making Employee details changes
If a day reliever has not previously been paid through the Education Service Payroll, follow the appointment process as for a new teacher. See Appoint a teacher.
